What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is technology that allows you to have headlines delivered to you from a variety of sites. RSS creates a "feed" or list of headlines from your chosen Web sites that you can access at the click of a button.
How do I use RSS?
You need an Internet browser that supports RSS technology, such as Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox or a host of other programs. Subscribing to feeds is usually simple, and varies from one browser to the next.
For instance, with Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7:
You will find an orange RSS icon in your menu bar.
Once you open the AlArabiya.net Web site, click on the down arrow next to the RSS icon.
Choose the channel to which you'd like to subscribe, and click 'Subscribe to this feed' from the headline page.
You will now find this RSS feed listed in the Feeds tab of your Favorites.
Alternatively, you can also use a Web-based news reader. For example, "My Yahoo!" or "My MSN" users can add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.
